Initially, UNICEF's solar system was synonymous with peace of mind. With a conversion power of 60 kVA, 80 kWh of storage, and a 57 kWp solar field, energy independence was assured, allowing all departments to focus fully on their humanitarian mission without interruption.
But success led to expansion. The addition of new offices, an increase in staff, and the integration of vital IT equipment quickly led to this reliable energy source becoming overloaded, making it impossible to act when time was of the essence.
