Foundations.
GoShop was established in 1980, by Dominique Otjacques under the name of Trameco in the city of Goma.
The company was originally specialised in electromechanical services.
Located in the east of the DRC, on the shores of Lake Kivu, at the foot of Mount Nyiaragongo and neighbour of Rwanda, Goma didn't stop growing as the company.
Despite the various conflicts and wars, Dominique has always invested and believed in the future of the country. Himself an electromechanical engineer, he has spent the last 38 years training highly skilled technicians and engineers.
He shared his passion for the region and the technique with his two sons, Bruce and Arnaud. These now accompany him in the daily management of the company.

Over the years, the company has progressively focused on the energy sector, a sector of the future in DR Congo.
As the business grows we have diversified our services to distribute renowned brands of solar energy products: Victron Energy, Schneider Electric, Fronius, etc.
