In an ever-changing world, everything can be learned, worked on, developed and mastered. Isn't that so?

In 2024, GoShop Academy proved that a willingness to learn and develop is the key to success, especially in a sector as dynamic and crucial as renewable energies. This year, the academy marked a major turning point with intensive training courses, aimed at equipping technicians with the theoretical and practical skills essential to meet energy challenges. From Kinshasa to Bukavu, from Goma to Kigali, GoShop Academy has supported more than 1,000 technicians through online and face-to-face training courses on topics related to Renewable Energies:

  •  In-depth knowledge of solar technologies, ESS (Energy Storage Systems),
  • Remote monitoring systems: Mastery of monitoring technologies for real-time remote monitoring of technical installations,
  • solar pumping: training in the use of renewable energies for sustainable irrigation and water supply solutions,
  • Security systems and video surveillance: Developing the skills needed to install and maintain modern security systems,
  •  Interpersonal and managerial skills.

This has only been possible thanks to the participation of our strategic partners such as Victron Energy, Huawei, Grundfos, Lorentz, Fronius .  To access our online courses, please click on this link www.goshop.energy/fr/slides

Your energy future, shaped by our experts and partners such as :

Victron

Training workshop in Kinshasa with the participation of NGO technicians and our customers, on multi RS converters, Victron-Fronius AC coupling, three-phase and parallel coupling of Multi-plus converter-charger units.

ACES

Use of solar energy in the production chain and conservation of agricultural products, training 6 technicians from agri-food companies and 4 technical staff from ACES.

Grundfos

Training on solar pump technologies in general, and SQFlex pump exploration in particular, with the participation of 40 technicians.

Huawei

Practical training on the installation, configuration and maintenance of ESS (Energy Strategist System) Kits, attended by 16 participants at our premises in Goma.

Hikvision

Training for GoShop technicians in the installation and configuration of video surveillance systems.

Inpp

Practical training on victron-Fronius AC coupling in Kinshasa.

These training courses are not simply an apprenticeship; they are a springboard to a better future for the next generation, with a particular emphasis on including women at the heart of the renewable energy sector, actively promoting their role and supporting the development of clean energy for a sustainable and equitable future. Each session was a promise of change in the profession for our technicians and those of our partners, a step towards a sustainable economy, and an opportunity to positively impact the community. 2024 has thus been a year of success, in which GoShop Academy has not only trained experts, but also sown hope and inspired a new generation to take the reins of the energy transition. And that's just the beginning.

Outlook 2025: A promising future for technicians and renewable energies

Building on the successes and lessons learned in 2024, the Academy is preparing to play an even greater role in 2025. The year ahead will be marked by a renewed commitment to meeting the growing needs of the renewable energy sector, with ambitious initiatives to build local capacity while supporting the region's energy transition. Our objective is clear: to consolidate our achievements, but also to broaden our influence to meet the growing demand for skills in the field of renewable energies.

1. A mentoring program reinforced by professional internships

2. Interactive modules for learning at the cutting edge of technology

3. Extension of practical training to new locations

4. Closer collaboration with partners and customers

5. An annual conference dedicated to solar technologies

The future is bright. Go Shop Academy continues to be a key player in the energy transition and a lever of hope for thousands of young Africans. The work has only just begun, and together we are building a greener, more sustainable and more inclusive energy future.
